If your child is in daycare, check out a new resource from the Canadian Partnership for Children’s Health and Environment. It’s a great big checklist called “Advancing Environmental Health in Child Care Settings.” It’s really a tool for daycare staffers, but it’s an eye-opener for parents too. There is lots of useful background info on keeping kids’ surroundings as healthy as possible. You can order a binder copy or download it free in PDF format at the CPCHE website, healthyenvironmentforkids.ca.
